A History of – Veterans’ Day

Let us take a moment to remember all of the veterans who have served our country, protecting not only our freedom, but the freedom of others around the world, any time “Uncle Sam” asked.

My other grandfather, father and uncles, who all served for our country as well.

My family wasn’t the only side who had a history of veterans.

My father-in-law who served for 23 years. Isn’t my husband adorable there on his lap?

And the tradition went much further back than you might imagine. Note the civil war jacket in the photo here. These are some of my mother-in-law’s family.
