Yesterday I spent most of the day in my kitchen doing lots of holiday baking. One of the things I baked were classic Snickerdoodles. Who doesn’t love a snickerdoodle? So I thought it would be a good idea to post the recipe today.

This past Autumn, I went on several berry-picking expeditions out in the tundra. On one of the trips, I picked scads of cranberries for just this reason. There is nothing better, and simpler, than homemade cranberry sauce.

Maple Walnut Pie

Looking ahead to Thanksgiving, I’m going to share this lovely goody with you. This pie is a nod to the traditional Pecan pie, with a bit of a difference. It uses Walnuts instead of Pecans, and Maple Syrup instead of Karo. The results are delicious!
