Real Army Wife ~ Real Food ~ Real Life

This is my all-time favorite strawberry shortcake recipe. It is a little unusual, in that the shortcake has a crumbly topping.

This week, the #SundaySupper movement turns 1 year old! I didn’t discover this wonderful group until April, but we are celebrating by sharing recipes that we have been dying to make, inspired by other contributors. I have wanted to make this lovely bread since I saw Patsy from FamFriendsFood.com, post it. I have jumped on [...]

Last weekend, some old friends invited my husband and me to go to Sunday Brunch with them out at a classic Alaska place, we had never been to. If you saw my "Wordless Wednesday" post from yesterday, you saw many photos that I took outside before going in to eat.
Any opinion I give on The Foodie Army Wife is my own. It is the truth, the whole truth and nothin' but the truth. I make no promises that you will agree with anything I say, or enjoy any recipe I cook, or care for anything I use, read, eat, etc. You are welcome to hate anything I love, or love anything I hate. Free will is a wonderful thing. The End.
