This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship….
Start with 1 cup of whole milk in a small saucepan.
Add in 1/2 cup old-fashioned Rolled Oats.
And you will add a couple tablespoons of finely chopped pecans. You can add these at the end if you like. I happen to have a sensitivity to raw nuts, so I add them now.
You can also add in a pinch of salt if you like.
Over medium heat, you are going to continually stir this, while it comes to a very gentle boil.
Continue cooking it until it comes to the consistency you like. (About 10 minutes.)
Remove it from the heat, and stir in 1 teaspoon Brown Sugar
And 1 Tablespoon Nutella.
Stir until happy.
Top with dried cranberries, raisins, sliced strawberries, or whatever you choose.
Enjoy!
