Nutella-Filled Pastries

Crispy puff pastry, with Yum-Yummy Nutella on the inside. This is so simple, it is done in minutes. Make some now!

Nutella-Filled Pastries from The Foodie Army Wife

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

In a dish, whisk together an Egg and a tablespoon of Water, until frothy. Set it aside.

Lay a sheet of Puff Pastry dough on a floured surface, and cut it into 9 squares. A pizza cutter is handy for this.

Place a spoonful of Nutella in the middle.

Brush a little egg wash on the edges around the Nutella, and fold closed. Press the edges together.

Brush the top with egg wash.

And sprinkle about a half teaspoon of Demerera/Raw Sugar on top.

Repeat the process with all of the squares, and place them on a baking sheet.

Bake 10-13 minutes, or until golden.

1 sheet Puff Pastry Dough
flour for dusting
9 Tb Nutella, divided
4 1/2 tsp Demerera (raw) Sugar, divided

Brush a little egg wash on the edges around the Nutella, and fold closed. Press the edges together.
Brush the top with egg wash.
And sprinkle about a half teaspoon of Demerera Sugar on top.
Repeat the process with all of the squares, and place them on a baking sheet.
Bake 10-13 minutes, or until golden.
Serve Warm or Room Temperature.
