I will Always Love You Alaska! | #Giveaway

In two weeks, movers will be coming to my home and packing up everything we own, loading them up on a truck, and hauling them all off to Alabama. There are so many things I’m going to miss about this place.

Things like this.

There was so many favorites I don't know where to start. One that I can name is blue berry picking at 2am with a friend. It never got dark so it was one of the best times. Any memory that we created as a family in AK, is my favorite. We miss you Alaska! We maybe back yet.

I'm actually PCSing to Alaska next month and I've been reading your blog to get an idea of what to expect. Alaska was one of my top choices and I am SO excited to move there, though I'm a little nervous because it's so far away and I'm still trying to figure out where I'm going to live and everything. But I'd have to say the thing I am most excited for is to see the northern lights. It's on my lifelong bucket list and I can't believe I'm moving to somewhere that I'll see them more than once.

Do you know what part of Alaska you are coming to? If you are up in the Fairbanks (Wainwright) area, you will get to see them much more often than if you are stationed in the Anchorage area. If you are coming up here, I would be happy to answer any questions that you have about it up here :)

Also – if you have an iPhone – go to the app store and look for the "Aurora Forecast" app. If is a great tool for seeing when the Aurora may be giving a show. AND on facebook, there is a page called "Aurora Borealis Notifications" and everyone keeps each other informed when Aurora comes out to dance – sharing tips and such. I'm still on there to vicariously enjoy the shows, even after we leave :) https://www.facebook.com/ABNFNSB
