This simple to make Syrup is a great addition to your pancakes, waffles or other yummy dish. We had this the other day on fluffy, ricotta pancakes.
You’ll start with 2 oranges. Zest one of them.
Juice both of the oranges through a sieve.
In a small saucepan, combine a cup of sugar and a cup of water.
Add the juice
And the zest, and give it a stir.
Bring this to a gentle boil, reduce the heat a little, and let it simmer for 15 minutes. Then let it cool.
