On the last evening in Hawaii, I enjoyed this wonderful and traditional dish – Kalua Pig. It is eaten with cabbage, pineapple and rice as you see on the plate.

This is a very thick and hearty soup, great for cooler weather, and very “stick-to-your-ribs.” It is wonderful served with a nice crusty bread.
