For this recipe, I am using the Sweet Sunshine Atomic sauce.

To begin, measure out 3/4 of a cup of frozen mango chunks and let them thaw. Set aside for now.

Next you will need a pound of ground pork and an egg. Place the ground pork in a mixing bowl. (This could also be made with ground turkey.)

In a small bowl, whisk the egg until smooth and add to it 2 tablespoons of Sweet Sunshine Atomic sauce. Whisk those together.

Pour the egg mixture all over the pork.

Sprinkle in a half cup of panko bread crumbs. Gently mix this together with your hands until just combined.

Divide the pork mixture into 6 equal portions. Form each portion into a small patty with a nice little thumb indentation in the center. Place all the patties on a plate and refrigerate for a little bit while you heat your grill to 400 degrees and prepare the mango sauce. This chilling period helps the patties hold up and not fall apart when you put them on your grill.

For the sauce – place your thawed mango in your blender. Add in the juice of half a lime.

A half cup of mayonnaise

Additionally, add in a tablespoon of honey and 2 tablespoons of cilantro.

Finally, add in a tablespoon of the Sweet Sunshine Atomic sauce. Blend these together until smooth. Set the sauce aside while you grill the sliders.

Grill the patties about 4 minutes on each side, or until a meat thermometer reads 170 degrees when inserted in the center.

Grab a small roll – I used cut pretzel rolls – add a layer of torn lettuce and a pork patty. Drizzle on some of your lovely mango sauce.

Top with the other part of the roll and serve.

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ c frozen mango chunks, thawed

  • Grab a small roll – I used cut pretzel rolls – add a layer of torn lettuce and a pork patty. Drizzle on some of your lovely mango sauce. Top with the other part of the roll and serve.
