When this lovely dish starts cooking, it smells like the holidays. With the sweetness of the orange and maple, and the evergreen-like scent of the rosemary, you’ll love the warmth it brings to your kitchen.

This is a very thick and hearty soup, great for cooler weather, and very “stick-to-your-ribs.” It is wonderful served with a nice crusty bread.

Last week I shared some photos of a moose in our back yard. Well, the very next day, there was not only a moose out there, but a moose with her yearling baby bull. When I woke up, I looked out the window and there they were, bedded down by the crab apple trees.
